Ultra Music Festival, also known as UMF, happens every year in March in Miami, Florida, USA. The festival started in 1999, thanks to Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes. In the beginning, it was on Miami Beach, then it moved around a bit, including a stint at Bicentennial Park. It briefly happened at Virginia Key in 2019 but usually, it’s at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. At first, it was a two-day festival, but from 1998 to 2006, it grew into the multi-day event we know today.
